BanihalA speedy fuel tanker on Friday skidded off the road and caught fire near Shabanbass area of Banihal on Srinagar Jammu highway.
A police official said that the tanker was on way to Srinagar from Jammu when near Shabanbass area of Banihal, the driver lost control over the tanker and skidded off the road.
As it skidded and rolled down into the gorge, the tanker caught fire, resulting into the grievous injuries of the driver and the conductor, he said.
The injured were rescued and shifted to Sub-district hospital Banihal for treatment, he added.
