SrinagarMinister for Revenue, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Friday said that district level grievance cells would be setup for prompt redress of grievances related to the functioning of Revenue Department.
The Minister said this during an interaction with a delegation of All Jammu & Kashmir Patwar Association here today. The meeting was also attended by Commissioner Secretary Revenue Muhammad Ashraf Mir and other concerned.
He said that the aim of establishing grievance cells besides redressing revenue related grievances is to bring more efficiency in the working of the Department.
Veeri impressed upon Patwaris to adhere to timelines in issuance of certificates and documents like Reserve Category Certificate, Dependent Certificate, Income Certificate, Fard Intikhab, Extract of Girdawari, Extract of Massavi, Extract of Jamabandi, Attestation of Mutation, Marriage certificate and other related documents.
He also asked the officers to work with missionary zeal for the benefit of the all sections of the society.
The deputation presented a charter of demands to the Minister to which he said that all of their genuine demands and concerns would be looked into.
