Srinagar: Denouncing the terror strikes on Iranian parliament and the mausoleum of revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini by Daish extremists in Tehran, senior Hurriyat Conference leader and President of Ittehadul Muslimeen Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari Friday expressed dismay at the statement of veteran resistance leader Syed Ali Geelani who has termed the terror attacks natural outcome of Irans aggressive policies in Iraq and Syria.
Without naming Geelani, Masroor Ansari said in a press statement that elderly leader should restrict his remarks to Kashmir and desist from issuing statements on international politics, particularly the complex situation in the Middle East, as according to Ansari, his statements on such issues have always lacked intellectual depth and understanding.
It is evident now that Zionist entity of Israel is using various outfits like Daesh and al-Qaeda to wage proxy war against the Axis of Resistance in the region, he said, adding freedom loving people of Kashmir were with their Iranian brethren in this hour of grief.
Meanwhile Agha Syed Abdul Hussain al Moosavi, has issued a statement from Iranian holy city of Qum urging his elder brother and senior Hurriayt (G) leader Agha Syed Hassan to quit Geelani led faction forthwith.
Issuing condolence message but at the same time justifying terrorist attacks in Iran, as did US president Donald Trump, Kashmiri leader has hurt the sentiments of followers of the Islamic Revolution, Hussain said in a statement.
He further said, By terming the policy of leader of the Islamic Revolution Syed Ali Khamenei towards Iraq and Syria as aggression, Hurriyat leader has crossed the line and has left no room for Agha Hassan to remain under his umbrella.
Hussain termed senior Aghas silence on Mr Geelanis statement as intriguing.
