Tral: A 55 year old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his brother at a village in Tral on Thursday morning over a land dispute, locals said.
The victim was identified as Mohammad Aziz Reshi S/O Mohammad Sultan Reshi a resident of Chewa Ullar village of Tral sub division in South Kashmir.
Police said that deceased Aziz Reshi and his brother Ghulam Hassan Reshi , were fighting over land dispute and suddenly one brother died during scuffle.
However family sources alleged that Ghulam Hassan and his son stabbed deceased Aziz leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sub District Hospital Tral for postmortem.
Police, meanwhile, have taken the cognizance of this matter and started investigation.
