SrinagarDeputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today directed the officers to ensure early restoration of the electric infara which had got damaged due to the inclement weather in Jammu the other day.
The directions were given by the Deputy Chief Minister while reviewing the power scenario in the Jammu division today. Senior Officers of the PDD department were present in the meeting.
The Deputy Chief Minister asked the officers to ensure that they should synergize their efforts so that early restoration of the damaged of electric infra is done. He said that we have to ensure that the people do not face any inconvenience viz-a-viz electric supply during the hot summer days.
Dr. Singh also directed the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to direct the Field Officers to ensure that the people do not suffer and be responsive to the demands of the consumers viz-a-viz restoration of electric power and damaged transformers. He said that they should also setup a 24×7 help line for providing quality supply of electricity to the people of the division.
