SrinagarMinister for Information and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Saturday hosted the Iftaar for the journalist fraternity in the lawns of the Media Complex at Polo View here.
A host of dignitaries including senior journalists, editors, publishers, videographers, photographers and working journalists of the local and national media joined the Iftaar.
Special arrangements were also made for the invitees to offer Magrib prayers which were led by Basharat Ahmad Baba, an employee of the DIPR.
Secretary Information, Mr M H Malik, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr Shafqat Khan and other senior officers of various departments also joined the Iftaar.
