Shopian: The Shopian district in South Kashmir observed a complete shutdown for the third consecutive day against the disappearance of a youth from police custody.
However, police has claimed that Zubair Ahmad Turray escaped from the police station Keegam on May 1.
All the business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in main town and adjoining areas on Saturday.
Government offices, banks and other commercial establishments besides educational institutions also remained closed due to strike. (CNS)
