Srinagar: : Expressing solidarity with the families of Bomay Sopore and Begum Bagh Kakpora, Syed Ali Geelani said that the role of police and their track record in past times has always been doubtful in such incidents. Till now not a single culprit was brought to book and it is as such an attempt to cool down the peoples resentment and hush up the case.

Forces have been deployed to create nineties like situations in villages and towns, said Geelani. Terming it, frustration of authorities and outcome of unprecedented poll boycott by people, Geelani said that forces enjoy backing of their masters & as such are harassing and intimidating civilians. They are following Dovel Doctrine, and are accountable to none and while referring to recent video clips uploaded by forces, Geelani said that they are doing this under well thought plan to harass civilians and particularly our youth.
Rejecting to these incidents & police version, Geelani said there will be no truth in the police version and they are equally responsible for the incident and their main aim is to shelve such cases.
