SRINAGAR: All-round Imran Haroon starred for Gousia Shiekhpora as they defeated MCC Mirwader by seven wickets in a Budgam Premier League fixture played at Shiekhpora Cricket Ground, Budgam on Tuesday.
Batting first MCC Mirwader posted a decent total of 160 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Imran was the pick of the bowlers for Gousia Shiekhpora taking three wickets.
He was star with the bat as well making a crucial 26 as Shiekhpora Gousia achieved the target in the eighteen over. He was declared man of the match.
Zewan Cricket Club continued on their winning ways beating SSM Parraypora by 20 runs. Batting first ZCC made a decent effort scoring 170 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Hilal Ahmad made a solid 45.
In reply SSM Parraypora made a good fist of it but fell short by 20 runs. Hilal took one wicket for ZCC.
