SRINAGAR: Shaheed Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament will begin next week, a statement from the organisers said Friday. The 14th edition of the tournament- in memory of Aga Syed Mehdi- will start with an inaugural ceremony at Shaheed Aga Syed Mehdi Sports Stadium Budgam on May 2.
The organisers have asked all the teams alongwith with their support staff to make it to the stadium for the opening ceremony.
The curtain raiser game will be played between Budgam XI and Srinagar XI soon after the inaugural ceremony.
The tournament is being organised by Shaheed Aga Mehdi Foundation.
