Srinagar |: Ridiculing Mehbooba Mufti for her claim that Modi Government would follow Vajpayees policy on Jammu & Kashmir, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate, Er. Rasheed said that Kashmiris have rejected Vajpayees policy in Kashmir and those praising Vajpayee are trying to mislead none but themselves.
Addressing a public meeting at Sochalyari today Er. Rasheed asked Mehbooba Mufti and those talking about Vajpayees Kashmir policy to explain what Vajpayees Kashmir formula was.
Er. Rasheed said neither was Vajpayee in favour of UN resolutions nor has he shown willingness to leave entire J&K as an independent state. His only mission was to engage Kashmiris into futile talks and get them tired and pitch them against each other by creating confusions and doubts.
There is nothing special in Vajpayees Kashmir mission except adding to the confusion. Mehbooba Mufti while talking much about Vajpayees Kashmir mission is hiding her failures.
If New Delhi is really sincere to initiate dialogue process it must end all operations against militant outfits and declare a unilateral seize fire before offering unconditional talks to militant leadership who are the real custodians of huge sacrifices, he said.
Er. Rasheed added that there is no fun to indulge into formal talks whatsoever, unless Govt. of India doesnt reveal what it has to offer to Kashmiris.
Er. Rasheed asked Mehbooba Mufti not to make illogical claims and added that everybody must realise that Kashmiris will agree to nothing less than right to self determination
