Srinagar: Former Congress candidate from Hazratbal constituency, Agha Syed Mohsin Friday joined Peoples Democratic Party.
Mohsin is the son of late Agha Syed Mustafa and uncle of Agha Ruhullah, NC leader and former minister.
PDP President Mehbooba Mufti formally welcomed Agha Mohsin into the party fold.
Speaking on the occasion, Agha Mohsin said he has been observing the working of the party for quite long and has come to conclusion that PDP was the only party which works for the interests of poor, marginalized and backward communities.
