Srinagar: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested two youth, ten days after their joining Hizbul Mujahideen militant organization, in Sopore town of north Kashmirs Baramulla district.
Acting on a specific information about the presence of two Hizb militants in an orchard near Achabal village, Police along with Army 22 RR , and CRPF cordoned off the whole area and launched search operation”, a police officer told news agency GNS.
During the searches, two newly recruited Hizb militants hiding inside the area were apprehended by the joint team of forces, the official said. He identified the arrested militants as Yawar Nabi Mir son of Ghulam Nabi Mir and Arsalan Rasool Teli son of Ghulam Rasool Teli both residents of Mohalla Sheikh Sahib Chinkipora, Sopore.
