Er. Rasheed reacts sharply to Shiv Senas demand of banning meat shops

SRINAGAR: AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has warned Right Wing Hinduta forces not to remain under impression that J&K is UP or Gujrat where they can go for any vandalism and threat the Muslim community in the name of protecting cows or banning meat shops and slaughter houses.

While reacting to demand of saffron organizations including Shiv Senha to ban so called illegal meat shops in Jammu, Er. Rasheed said that if being vegetarian means them so pious, then they should seek death punishment for killers of Zahid, Ishtiyak Chowdhary, Mohammad Yaqoob and others murdered by these so called vegetarians in Jammu province during last two years, on basis of believing them to be suspected cow smugglers. He said should these radical elements explain if for them worth of human beings carries no meaning as compared to animals including cows.

It is shameful that while in UP Sang Parivar is bulldozing Muslim community by all possible ways and means, Sanghies in Gujrat have amended the law and incorporated Life Punishment for those accused of Cow slaughtering.

Modi must understand that under the cover of protecting cows he cannot facilitate butchering and bulldozing Muslims all over India and when it comes to J&K the Sang Parivar needs to understand that J&K is a heavily Muslim dominated state, as such no power on earth can threaten Muslims in the name of cow slaughtering or running slaughter shops and they need no permission in the matters permissible in their religion.
