Chadoora: Police and paramilitary forces fired pellets and tear smoke shells on mourners in Chadoora village injuring the grandfather of the slain boy, reports said.
They said that hundreds of people had assembled at Wahthoora to receive the body of Aamir Fayaz who was killed at the hands of armed forces.
People were busy in making arrangements for the funeral of Fayaz when forces came and fired pellets and tear gas shells on people without any provocation, locals alleged.
They said that Aamirs grandfather, Abdul Ghani was among the injured in the incident. 70-year-old, Ganai was immediately rushed to hospital, they said.
Three youth, Zahid Rasheed, Ishfaq Ahmad and Aamir Fayaz were killed in forces actions in Zuin village of Budgam district after clashes erupted in the area during a gunfight between forces and protesters.
At least 16 more civilians sustained injuries during the clashes.
