Chadoora Clashes: 3 Civilians Killed in Firing
Srinagar:Three civilians were killed in government forces firing near encounter site in Durbugh village of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.
A youth who had received a bullet in his neck during clashes near encounter site succumbed at SMHS hospital in Srinagar, sources said.
The youth has been identified as Zahid Rashid Ganie S/o Abdul Rashid Ganai, R/O Chadoora, Budgam.
Another youth Saqib Ahmad R/O Wathoora was hit by a bullet during clashes near encounter site. He was immediately referred to SDH Chadoora where he succumbed to injuries.
3rd youth identified as Ashfaq Ahmad, a resident of Rangret area of district Budgam was hit with a bullet and rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar. However, he succumbed to his injuries, sources said.

Militant killed in ongoing Chadoora gunfight: Army
Chadoora: A militant has been killed in the ongoing gunfight in Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, army sources said on Tuesday.
They added that a weapon has also been recovered from the encounter site.

If PAVA fails,forces may use pellet guns in Kashmir:Union Govt
New Delhi: Pellet guns may be used by the government forces in Kashmir valley to disperse the protesters if their alternatives fail, the government said Tuesday.
In a written reply in Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj G Ahir said that the government had constituted an expert committee on July 26, 2016 to explore other possible alternatives to pellet guns as non-lethal weapons

Suspected militants ransack policemens house in Shopian
Shopian: Suspected militants barged into the residence of an Assistant Sub-Inspector of police and a Constable in south Kashmir’s Shopian district and ransacked their houses late on Monday night, reports said on Tuesday.
Sources said that ASI Dilber Ahmad Rather and Constable Riyaz Ahmad were not in their house at Diaroo Village of Shopian when suspected militants ransacked it.

Srinagar: Youth on Tuesday pelted stones and rocks at a forces party which was rushing towards the encounter site in Chadoora area of central Kashmirs Budgam district.

Gunfight Underway In Chadoora Budgam
Chadoora: An encounter broke out between militants and government forces in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district early on Tuesday morning, police said .
They said on a tip-off about the presence of militants, the Army and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a search operation at village Durbugh, Chadoora.
