Srinagar: The Northern Army Commander Lt Gen D Anbu Saturday reviewed the overall security situation in the Kashmir Valley.
Accompanied by Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen J S Sandhu, the Army Commander visited the LC formations and units where he was briefed by commanders on ground regarding the operational and logistics preparedness.
Commending the alertness and high morale of all troops deployed along the LC, Gen Anbu stressed upon the need to sustain vigil and thwart any attempts of infiltration from across.
The Army Commander also took stock of the situation in hinterland and impressed upon everyone to continue targeting the terrorist groups while safeguarding the interests of the common people in close coordination with all security agencies and civil administration.
