Srinagar: Private Schools Association of Kashmir (PSAK) has advised parents not to worry about attendance or loss of class work of their children who have developed the prevalent viral infection and take care of them at their homes till they are completely healthy.
The Association urged the parents to completely follow the health guidelines issued by the health department so that the impact of this viral epidemic is lessened. We are in touch with all schools and health department and we are doing our best to keep children safe. However we advise the parents that they should keep their children at their homes in case the children suffer from any kind of infection, said G N Var chairman PSAK. They shouldnt worry over the loss of academic days as we have decided that all schools will provide additional remedial classes once this flu season is over.
The Association asked the parents not to take any kind of risk when it comes to health of children. Government couldnt decide on the situation as what to do with the schools, so it is now for parents to strictly take precautions. Even if there is a minor infection, the infected children should be allowed to rest at home, said Var. There is nothing to panic however by taking preventive measures situation will be normal soon.
