SRINAGAR: Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani on Friday while blaming government of India for continuous bloodshed in the state, said that the state administration has virtually given its nod to army chiefs intimidation against innocent civilians and approved it as their state policy.
In a statement issued here, condemning the two civilian killings in Pulwama and paying tributes to militant killed in Bandipora, he said, we are not even allowed to mourn our slain youth.
He also condemned the arrests of resistance leadership stating as state vandalism and said, nowhere in world we perceive such type of arrogance.
He also alleged that New Delhi of looking for excuses to create 2016 like situation in state to justify the use of lethal weapons against unarmed and innocent youth.
Geelani, who continues to be under house arrest since 2016, accused government of conspiring to crush the economic infra structure aimed to create sense of insecurity.
