Awantipora: A 15 year old boy, was killed in security forces firing near the encounter site in Padgampora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
The slain civilian was identified as Amir Nazir son of Nazir Ahmad, a resident of Begumbagh Kakpora. He was a student of ninth standard.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Pulwama Talat Jabeen said the boy was declared dead on arrival at PHC Kakapora.
Reports said that two other injured have been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
