Awantipora: One militant has been killed in the ongoing gun battle that broke out on Thursday morning between government forces and militants in Padgampora area of Awantipora in South Kashmirs Pulwama district
“The slain militant has been identified as Jehangir Ganai,” reports quoting a senior police officer said.
Another militant, Sher Gujri is still engaging with forces, he added.
Meanwhile following the gunfight, the Banihal-Baramulla train service was stopped as the railway track moves close to Padgampora village.
