Srinagar: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir on Monday visited Kulgam and Islamabad and paid homage to those who were killed in Frisal gunfight. Delegation visited the families of Mudasir Ahmad Tantray of Redwani Bala, Wakeel Ahmad Thokar of Harigam Kulgam, Farooq Ahmad Dar of Arra Mehmandpora Kulgam, Mohammad Younis Lone of Hawoora Mishipora, Ashiq Ahmad Reshi of Nagbal Kulgam and Mushtaq Ahmad Itoo of Hatigam Srigufwara and expressed sympathy and solidarity on behalf of Jamaat. At the occasion, delegation showered glowing tributes and deliberated upon the philosophy of Shahadat on account of Quran & Sunnah and throw light on the historical context of Kashmir.
Our youth render countless and precious sacrifices for the freedom of the nation and today we pledge we will safeguard these sacrifices in every respect, the delegation reiterated while speaking in different public meetings.
They said that it is unfortunate that the world community is paying no heed towards the voice of suppressed and sacrifices rendered by the youth. India itself shows its arrogant and stubborn approach against hapless and unarmed people of Kashmir in order to quell the sentiment of Kashmiri people.
The delegation said, until the New-Delhi addresses Kashmir issue as per the UNSC resolutions, peace in the regions is a distant dream. It is New-Delhis arrogant and mighty approach which is a big halt in the resolution of long standing Kashmir dispute.
Paying homage to the martyrs, the delegation said that the sacrifices rendered by the youth are an asset of freedom struggle which need to be safeguarded
