BARAMULLA: Security forces on Friday arrested a militant and recovered arms and ammunition in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
A CRPF spokesperson told UNI that following specific information about movement of a militant 33 battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and state police established a checkpoint at Janbazpora in Baramulla in north Kashmir.
He said a vehicle was intercepted at the checkpoint and during checking security forces recovered one pistol, two pistol magazines and one hand grenade.
One militant, who was driving the vehicle, was immediately taken into custody, he added.
