Srinagar: A ceremony was held in Kashmir capital Srinagar to celebrate the 38th victory anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. The participants praised Iran’s achievements over the past years and hailed Tehran’s resistance against Western oppression in the Muslim world.
The ceremony was organized by Anjuman Shari Shia at the shrine of Mir Shamsuddin Iraqi here in Zadibal area. The conference titled Message of Iran’s Islamic Revolution for oppressed lot. It was attended by representatives of various religious organizations including Aga Syed Yousuf Almosvi, Maulana Khurshid Qanungo, Sheikh Zakri, Molvi Maqbool Hussain, Syed Aijaz Rizvi, Syed Liyaqat Hussain and Syed Muhammad Hussain. Aqai Muhammad Raza Saliha was the chief guest on the occasion.
The participants offered congratulations over the anniversary of the victory of the Irans Islamic Revolution and underlined the importance of Iran’s struggle for Muslim world in the present era. Speaking on the occasion, Anjuman Shari Shian president Aga Syed Hasan said that the founder of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomenei was a force to reckon with who always worked in the interest of Muslim world.
“The fundamental transformation in the political system- from a secular, Western-friendly state to a system of governance that highlights a combination of constitutional, theocratic, and some democratic attributes- not only significantly altered the social, political, and domestic affairs of the nation, but also has exerted significant impact on the geopolitical and strategic chessboard of the world,” he said.
The representative of Jamiat-ul-Mustafa International Iran Aqai Muhammad Raza Saliha in his address said that Islamic Revolution of Iran was neither economic nor social in nature but it was aimed to help and awaken the oppressed Muslim Ummah around the globe.
