Anantnag:- RAMKY Infrastructure Company Thursday gave amputee cricketer Amir Hussain Lone his first salary after the intervention of Kashmir Observer.
Amir is the captain of JK handicapped cricket team . He was employed by the RAMKY infrastructure company on the recommendation of DC office Anantnag under Corporate Social Responsibility on March, 11 2016 on a monthly honorarium of Rs 12000 per month
Amir had earlier told Kashmir Observer that company after employing him didnt pay him any salary for all these months.
Kashmir Observer brought this issue into the notice of DC Anantnag Dr Syed Aabid Rashid Shah,who subsequently took the matter with RAMKY company.
On Thursday RAMKY company presented Amir a cheque of Rs 48,000 (4 months salary).
Amir after getting his first salary thanked Kashmir Observer and DC Anantnag Dr Aabid for the help.
Pertinently Amir was last year presented a cheque of Rs 10,000 by then DC Anantnag Muneer ul Islam .
