Srinagar: Government forces Monday busted a militant hideout and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition in Shopian district of south Kashmir, official sources said.
They said Army and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint operation at village Trenz in south Kashmirs Shopian district following a tip off about a militant hideout.
After a long search, security forces unearthed a hideout and recovered large cache of arms ammunition, they said, adding details are being collected. However, no one was arrested, they added.
