Kupwara: Five army personnel went missing after a snow avalanche hit an army post in Machil sector of Kupwara district on Saturday.
“A snow slide hit an army patrol party which left five army men trapped,” said army spokesman.
He said a rescue operation has been launched to rescue the trapped soldiers.
