Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Lone, who is also discharging the responsibilities of Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation called an emergent meeting of Municipal officers and Ward Officers to review the arrangements for snow clearance in view of forecast.
Srinagar City was distributed in Four Zones and Zonal Officers were nominated to monitor snow clearance arrangements and progress in the areas. The Officers were directed to get snow cleared without any delay from roads, lanes, Bye-lanes leading to Hospitals, Masjids, Shrines, Fire Stations, Ration Depotts. On priority.
