Srinagar : An ambulance which was stolen by some unknown persons from Srinagar, was today recovered by Budgam police from Wadwan area.
On 10th of January 2017, driver of an ambulance vehicle Mohammad Ibrahim Bhat resident of Vizer Baramulla reported in Police Station Karan Nagar that an ambulance bearing registration number JK01P/4492 of J&K Yateem Foundation Jawahar Nagar was stolen by some unknown persons during the intervening night of 09-10 January 2017 which was parked near Al-Hilal Diagnostic Centre Karanagar.
A case was registered in Police Station Karan Nagar and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of action, the said ambulance was recovered by Police Post Soibugh from Wadwan area, today. The vehicle was later handed over to Police Station Karan Nagar. Further investigation of the matter is going on.
