Srinagar: Many parts of the Valley Tuesday received light snowfall and rains ending the longest dry spell in years in Valley.
Officials said that light snowfall was received in ski-resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmirs Baramulla district.
Reports of snowfall were also received from Shopian in south Kashmir while rains lashed the plains of the valley.
Reports from Islamabad said that the area is witnessing rainfall while as snowfall is happening near Jawahar Tunnel on Jammu-Srinagar Highway.
The historic Mughal Road has been closed due to heavy snowfall .
