Jammu: National Conference Members of Legislative Council Showkat Hussain Ganai Tuesday walked out of the Legislative Council after throwing papers towards the well.
Ganai was speaking on Kashmir issue when Chairman did not allow him to continue his speech.
Earlier, participating in discussion on Kashmir, Ganai termed slain HM Commander Burhan Wani a martyr and a freedom fighter.
He said, Those who went to Pakistan including Sallahuddin since 1989, had not crossed border to become MLA but to pick up guns.
He added that Jammu and Kashmir is a political issue which needs to be resolved.
He said stone pelters are the creation of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since 2008. (CNS)
