Srinagar: The leaders of JKLF, Hurriyat (G) and Hurriyat (M) under the banner of Joint Resistance Leadership Monday held protest against the issuance of domicile certificates to the West Pakistan Refugees (WPR).
Carrying banners and placards that read Demographic changes wont be allowed, the leaders took out the rally from historic Jamia Masjid here.
According to a KNS correspondent, Hurriyat (G) leader Peer Saifullah, who was flanked by JKLF and Hurriyat (M) leaders, told the gathering that he had met Geelani few hours ago and he (Geelani) had sent a message to that people.
Come what may we wont allow any demographic change in the state, Saifullah said while reading the message of Geelani.
The leaders also said that India should shun its rigid approach and initiate a fruitful dialogue process with all the three stake holders-India, Pakistan and Kashmiris.
