Srinagar: Continuing with its anti-encroachment drive, Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) on Thursday demolished two illegal structures at Nowgam area of Srinagar.
An official in the SDA department told KNS that a team headed by SDA officer, Muneer Ahmad Mir with the assistance of Nowgam Police today demolished two structures in Nowgam area, which were illegally raised by the locals.
He said that that a case has also been registered against the persons involved in raising the illegally raised building, adding that the drive would continue in future as well.
Meanwhile, SDA Vice chairman, Syed Tehseen Mustafa warned the people there to refrain themselves from raising illegal structures. “Anybody found involved in raising the illegal structures would be dealt with strictly,” he said. (KNS)
