Anantnag:One charred body has been recovered from the debris of the gunfight in Hassanpora, Arwani in South Kashmir's Anantnag district after firing between militants and government forces stopped on Friday.
"The body is charred beyond identification," said a local source.
Defence sources said they have started sanitation drive after the firing stopped.
Sources said that a residential house is completely damaged and raised to ground while as five other houses were damaged in the 40 hour long gunfight between militants and government forces which started on Wednesday.
