Srinagar: Police has seized government supply rice in Central Kashmir Budgam District, a statement said on Thursday.
Budgam police during Naka Checking intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK03B-2634 at Pethpora Narbal.
On checking of the vehicle 10 Quintals of Government supply rice meant for general public was recovered.
Two people who were travelling in the vehicle have been arrested. They were identified as Abdul Qayoom Rather son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather resident of Aarth Budgam and Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Gafar resident of Makhama.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
