Ganderbal: District Principal and Sessions Judge Ganerbal Thursday rejected the bail application of an accused allegedly involved in torching of a government school.
Muhammad Yasir Makhdoomi, a medical shop owner from Dudharhama Ganderbal was arrested by police (FIR 212/16 under section 436, 120B) on charges of stone-pelting and torching of a government Middle School Building. He is presently lodged in Central Jail Srinagar.
District Principal and Sessions Judge Ganerbal Raja Shujat Ali after hearing the arguments from the counsel of the accused and the Public Prosecutor rejected the bail application of the accused on the grounds that torching of educational institutions can’t be justified in any manner.
