SRINAGAR:Two youths were injured after they received pellets during clashes in Anchar and Jinab Sahab Soura area of Srinagar, reports said on Wednesday.
According to sources clashes intensified in the area after forces cordoned the area.
The forces earlier raided Aanchar and Jinab Sahab areas of Soura this morning and cordoned the whole area. Local sources said, “forces barged in to homes and beat people ruthlessly.”
People took to streets to protest against the forces’ action.
Forces resorted to teargas shelling to break up the protests, triggering massive clashes.
The identity of the injured youths was not immediately known.
