SRINAGAR:Clashes erupted in Soura locality of Srinagar on Wednesday after government forces launched a crackdown in the area .
Reports said that hundreds of forces on Wednesday morning raided Anchar locality in Soura area of Srinagar and cordoned the whole area.
According to locals, forces barged in their homes and beat up inmates ruthlessly including women.
People took to streets to protest against the forces’ action.
Forces resorted to teargas shelling to break up the protests, triggering massive clashes.
