Bandipora:A gunfight is underway between suspected militants and government forces in Ajar village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said.
14 RR and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off a residential house in Ajar following inputs about the presence of militants Tuesday morning, said a senior police officer.
He said the militants hiding in the house opened fire, triggering an encounter.
