Srinagar: National Health Mission Employees Association Monday said that the Health employees of Jammu & Kashmir are performing their duties with utmost dedication and punctuality. In the current turmoil only the department of Health is performing their duties in the actual field. The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir has issued a circular vide NO:-DHSK/PS/2648-2718 Dated 22/07/2016, wherein it has been directed to all the DDO’s to collect & drop the health staff without any charge, but it has come to the notice of the union that some DDO’s are charging the staff including the staff working under NHM.
Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman recently said that the department is paying HRA to its employees, so they have to be stationed. But we the NHM employees are not being provided any type of allowances or HRA, besides our meager pay scales.
So the Union is of the unanimous opinion that the ambulance charges of the health employees should be waived off immediately so that they can perform our duties without any mental and economical trauma. (CNS)
