Srinagar: Army Friday said that the diverse steps being taken by it in restoring normacy in the valley are becoming evident all across the valley. From conducting medical camps, to interaction with locals and youths, providing security for opening shops and facilitating and providing a safe passage for move of apple yields out of kashmir, Army is leaving no stone unturned.
South Kashmir according to Army is slowly but surely returning to normalcy. “Army reached out to the Awaam of villages Pannad, Sangnad, Kachnar, Galan Aishdhar and khiram in South kashmir by conducting a much needed medical camp and provided basic medical facilities to men, women and children. Over 500 people took benefit from this camp as they are devoid of basic med facilities due to this current unrest in the valley. In yet another out reach effort, army interacted with the village elders and youths of Buna Deosar and its neighbouring areas and further facilitated the mov of Apple Trucks out of kashmir valley to provide some breathing space to Apple Business which has been badly crippled due to the current turmoil.”
In a statement to CNS the Army said that: “It is also ernestly impressing upon the people to end the long absence of their children from schools which will only hurt their future prospects. With the collective efforts of the Army, Administration and indeed the Awaam, the Govt Middle School in Malangam, Baramulla has reopened and regular classes have commenced. The teachers and students expressed their hope that their academic curriculum would not get disrupted again and that their school would encourage others also to follow suit soon.” (CNS)
