Srinagar: Felicitating people on the occasion of Eid-e-Ghadeer, Anjuman Sharie Shiayan president Aga Syed Hasan Almusavi said that the occasion shows and teaches us how Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) fought against oppression and suppression and turned out to be the torch bearer of the humanity.
Agha said that Imam Ali spread the teachings and light of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and history is witness to the fact that after the Prophet (PBUH) Hazrat Ali (AS) was the most virtuous, religious, generous and benevolent in human history.
Quoting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as having said that “people shall be guided by him after me and this is the day in which Allah completed the religion and perfected the bounties upon humanity especially Muslims and on which He was pleased with Islam as their religion.”
Aga Syed Hasan said that India has let loose a reign of terror in Kashmir and the situation is getting worsened after every passing day. He said that the path shown by Imam Ali (AS) can guide us towards our goal and we will one day turn out victorious.
Meanwhile, at Imam Bara Gulshan Bagh Bota Kadal Anjuman Sharie organized a conference in which tributes were paid to those Kashmiri people who attained martyrdom from last three months.
