New Delhi :AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rashid today asked national parties of India that there will be no takers of autonomy or any other formula whatsoever within the ambits of Indian constitution and said that if India feels that holding plebiscite contradicts Indian constitution, then parliament should unanimously amend constitution to accommodate right to self determination for people of Jammu & Kashmir.
According to AIP statement issued to PTK, Rashid said this in a round table conference organised by Centre for Policy Analysis in New Delhi today, Er Rashid said that it is right time for Govt. of India and other political parties to confess that their all cosmetic measures to manage Kashmir crises have failed yet again.
Er Rashid said “if Indian state is under the illusion that Kashmiris will get tired and go off the streets it is living in denial mood to endorse the problem as the patience of Kashmiris has already crossed its peak.
“Blaming and abusing Pakistan or talking meaningless about Baluchistan will harm none other than India itself as hundreds of its own districts are facing very serious uprisings for one reason or other,” he said.
Er Rashid asked national level political parties to sit together before their proposed visit to J&K and clear their confusions by reaching a consensus how to do justice with people of J&K and reminded them that how New Delhi has disgraced Kashmiri leaders including five top militant commanders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik from time to time.
Er Rashid strongly rejected views of certain Indian leaders that Kashmiris should think of crores of muslims living in India before seeking separation from India and said that Kashmiris are neither seeking the solution on communal lines nor can be their rights made hostage to the compulsions and issues of Indian muslims. He added that by saying so, Indian state is itself playing the communal card to corner Kashmiris but this dangerous policy will alienate even Indian Muslims in coming days. (PTK)
