Srinagar:- Describing the CM, Mehbooba Mufti, as "manner-less" and "arrogant", chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Thursday said that the treatment meted out to the journalists by Mehbooba during the press conference was deplorable and highly condemnable.
“The journalists present in the press conference exposed her hypocrisy and dual standard, that is why she misbehaved with them,” she said in a statement.
Andrabi said that the journalists in Kashmir, despite facing all odds, have always maintained the ethical standards and impartiality. “We have journalists of international repute in Kashmir and by misbehaving with them, this woman has only exposed the fact that she is manner-less and arrogant,” she added.
She said that Mehbooba must tender an unconditional apology for her misbehavior.
