At least 6 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers were injured in a militant attack on Indias 70th Independence Day celebration in Kashmir. As per the reports Militants attacked a CRPF post in Khanyar area, a police official told IANS. Reportedly 2 militants are holed up in a local residential house in the area. As per last reports firing from both sides is still on.
The attack came despite strict curfew imposed most parts of Kashmir valley.
