Srinagar:-Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Wednesday accused the Union Government of being oblivious to the on-going uprising in the Valley.
“Two more protestors killed last night. The CM (Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti) still wants to behave as though it’s business as usual but why is the centre oblivious?” Omar wrote on Twitter.
Kashmir is under continuous curfew for more two dozen days now while at least 54 civilians have been killed by forces since July 09. Over 5000 have been injured during the mass protests since July triggered by killing of popular militant commander Burhan Wani.
