SRINAGAR: People from across the Valley on the second consecutive day on Sunday continued to visit the residence of Hizb commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
According to KNS correspondent, people from all walks of life visited Burhans residence where they paid tributes to slain Hizb militant.
People in large number in Bikes, private vehicles, load carriers and other transports reached to Tral area of South Kashmirs Pulwama district to express solidarity with bereaved family.
Witnesses said that inhabitants of different localities have installed various langers on the roads for the people who were visiting Burhans residence.
Meanwhile, witnesses said that clashes were also erupted in several area of Tral and were chanting pr-freedom and pro-Burhan slogans.
Most popular Hizb commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani alongwith his two associates were killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Kokernag area of south Kashmirs Anantnag district on Friday.
The body of the slain Hizb commander was handed over to the family on Saturday morning for the last rites.
About 2 lakh people attended the funeral prayers of Burhan Wani, reports said, adding that 16 youth were also killed during the clashes between youth and forces in Kashmir following the killing of Wani. (KNS)
