SRINAGAR: Fida Mohammad Hasnain, a noted historian and columnist, passed away at S K Institute of Medical Sciences Soura here. He was 94.
Reports said that Hasnain had been admitted in the hospital twelve days ago.
Hasnain authored over a dozen of books on history.
He served as Director Archives and Libraries in the Jammu and Kashmir government. His Nimaz-e-Jinaza is being offered shortly at his Parray Pora residence reports said.
