SRINAGAR:- Minister for Technical Education, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari today informed the House that ITI Zainakote the extension to ITI Bagh-e-Dilawar Khan, is under construction and 17 out of 25 trades trades would be shifted there.
Replying to a question by Noor Mohammad Sheikh, the Minister said that present status of ITI Zainakote is that the super structures of administrative block, work shop block and hostel block are completed. He said the plaster work is presently going on in all the blocks.
The Minister said the administrative and work shop blocks are being constructed by JK Housing Board at a cost of Rs. 4.84 crore and Rs. 1.40 crore respectively. He said the hostel block is being executed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.02 crore through engineering work of Directorate of Technical Education.
The Minister said in addition, another complex is being constructed in the premises of the ITI for conducting hospitality and tourism related trades at a cost of Rs. 1 crore. He said the super structure has been completed and finishing work is in progress.
