Srinagar: JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has been released on bail today. He was presented before the special judge TADA court Kashmir at Srinagar and special judge granted him bail and ordered to release him in open court.
A JKLF spokesperson in a statement said Yasin has now reached his residence. It is worth to mention that Yasin Sahib was arrested by police on 25th may 2016 from his office Abi Guzar. He was sent to Srinagar central jail on 28th May 2016, after which he was granted bail and released from central jail Srinagar on 3rd June 2016. On the same night police and SOG attacked his house and he was again arrested on 4th June 2016 under a 29 years old case of 1987. Today special judge TADA court heard his case and order his release in open court after which he was released and has reached his residence, he said.
Meanwhile JKLF has strongly condemned the spree of raids on JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri. Police and SOG raided his house last night and harassed his family.
